About Conan and Iona
We met in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2015! Conan was working for Total on the graduate scheme, and Iona was studying for her Masters at RGU.

Now seven years later, we've squeezed a lot of love, adventure and growth into our relationship. Including living in three countries, travelling the world, Conan returning to School to study for his MBA and starting our (fur) family with Bonnie, Binky and Buggleton.

The wedding weekend!

August 3rd - Pre-wedding BBQ & catch up
To give guests a chance to relax after their travels and catch up with friends and family, we will be having a pre-wedding BBQ. Food will be served at 5 pm with snacks and refreshments available throughout the day. We understand friends and family will be flying in at different times of the day so don't worry too much about when you arrive. 

August 4th - The big day
 The wedding ceremony and reception will be held on August 4th. Full details of the day will be posted closer to the time. Breakfast and lunch for Chateau guests will also be provided on this day. 

August 5th - Leave Chateau 
Apologies in advance to your hangovers... but we must leave the Chateau by 10 am on Friday the 5th. An informal breakfast will be provided. Details about transport will be provided shortly.

Car Train Plane
Driving from Scotland?
Good luck! From Edinburgh, this is a 12-hour drive. You will need a Eurostar ticket.

Driving from London?
This is a 6.5-hour drive.

Driving from Paris?
This is a 1.4-hour drive.

If you are travelling to the wedding via car please;
- Book your euro star tickets early for your car to save money/disappointment!
- Let us know so we can allocate you a parking space.
- Try to car share to save money, the environment and our limited parking spaces.
- Let us know if you need any help!


Train from Scotland
You will need to get a train to London. Then the Eurostar to Paris, then the train from Paris to Carsix.

You will need to get the Eurostar to Paris, then the train from Paris to Carsix.

Train from Paris
The train from Paris to Carsix takes 1.4 hours and is roughly €70 return.

There are hotels, b&b's and air b&b's available nearby the town of Carsix, however, these are limited so we would encourage early booking. Please let us know if we can help you with anything!

Guests who previously reserved/paid for rooms at Chateau
We have rolled over your rooms to this year, if you can no longer make it we will arrange your refund etc.
